The Community Calendar is a service of the Tennessee Jazz and Blues Society designed to promote the music and musicians and help community members find out where they can find and hear jazz and blues. It’s a free service and anyone can submit and event. In fact, the more events we can list the more useful it will be!

So, whether you’re a musician, venue operator, or fan, please submit your events! You can enter them yourself or, even easier, send information to info@jazzblues.org.

So far most of the events listed are in the Nashville area (which is where TJBS is based) but submissions from around the state are welcome and invited. As you’ll note from the calendar, there are now events listed from Knoxville, Memphis, and Chattanooga, so keep those coming!

To submit events directly on the website, all you have to do is register for the site, establishing a login and password. Then, when you’re logged in, look for a thin, black band at the top of the page, with a drop-down “Event” menu. Selecting “Community Submit Event” will bring up an event form on the screen. Just fill in the information requested (as much or as little as you want, though the event will need a name, date, and time) and submit. If you’d like us to post it for you, send us the information by email.

With your help we can make the community calendar a go-to resource for the jazz-blues community!
