Jazzmania is the Nashville Jazz Workshop’s Annual Jazz Party and Fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the Workshop, going to support its mission of enriching people’s lives through classes, performances, and special events for the community.

The event takes place in Liberty Hall at The Factory in Franklin Saturday, October 14, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.

This year’s featured artist is the world-class saxophonist Kirk Whalum. Kirk is a former NJW Board member and teacher, and a world-wide ambassador for jazz. He’ll be returning to Nashville for this special one-time performance along with members of his touring band (drummer Marcus Finnie, keyboardist John Stoddart, and vocalist Kevin Whalum) along with Jazz Workshop Directors Roger Spencer (bass) and Lori Mechem (piano).

The event includes a live and silent auction, with unique and desirable items such as vacation packages, tickets to top events, special dinner packages, in-home concerts, and the “Small Works” collection of artwork by some the area’s top artists. This year’s auction will be online before and during the event. This means that anyone, anywhere in the world, can bid!
