J.U.M.P. (Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership) announces the 16th Annual Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival, showcasing jazz & blues and celebrating the musical heritage of Jefferson Street.

This year’s event kicks off Friday June 17, with a “Bridging the Gap” Mixer on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge.

The Festival itself is Saturday, June 18, and takes place at the Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park. Lattimore, Lakeside, and Midnight Star headline this year’s festival.

Local artists who will also be on hand are Marcus JohnsonTina Brown (Tribute to Marion James), Julish & the Genius Band (The Music of Prince), and Stacy Mitchhart.
