The Nashville Jazz Workshop's "Jazz Cave" has been named to the International list of 150 Great Jazz Venues by DownBeat Magazine. The Jazz Cave is one of three venues in Nashville selected by DownBeat. The others are F. Scott's and the Ryman Auditorium. The full list can be seen in DownBeat Magazine.
Maxx Myrick is a media professional with 32 years of broadcasting and communications experience. He produced the Real Jazz channel on XM Radio, and produced "In The Swing Seat with Wynton Marsalis." Before that he was Program Director for radio stations running the gamut from straight ahead to smooth jazz to R&B. Presently a media consultant, TJBS is one of his current projects.
