NJW is teaming up with Nashville's exciting NEW independant bookstore,Parnassus Books, for a monthly concert series! It's called "Jazz By The Book." We're very excited about Parnassus and their philosophy about a real bookstore, with real books - check out their website for more information on this important addition to Nashville's cultural scene!

The first in the series will be February 25, from 4-5 pm, with NJW's own Harry Warren vocal repertoire class, featuring vocalists Byron Hill, Margaret Smith, Scott Crowe, Lisa Taylor, Debra Agnoletti, and Joe Freel. They will be joined by Directors Lori Mechem on piano and Roger Spencer on bass, with Ralph Henry on drums.

Come and learn about the life and music of the great American composer Harry Warren!

Join us again on March 24 at 4pm with vocalist Monica Ramey, accompanied by Lori Mechem, as she pays tribute to America's sultry songstress Peggy Lee.
