Legendary saxophonist David Liebman comes to Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley Friday, February 6 at 7pm with an all-star lineup, performing the music of Miles Davis’ 1972 Album, “On The Corner.” Admission is $20 and includes opening act Pedro Saxo.

David Liebman is a living legend of contemporary music and has played and recorded with Miles Davis, Elvin Jones, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, McCoy Tyner and many others. David Liebman has also been a passionate, worldwide educator for many years. He has been recognized as an NEA Jazz Master, Jazz Educators Network (JEN) Legends of Jazz, multiple Grammy nominee and Downbeat/Jazz Times Critics Poll winner (soprano sax), French Order of Arts and Letters, Honorary Doctorate from the Sibelius Academy (Helsinki, Finland), Founder (1989) and Artistic Director of the International Association of Schools of Jazz (IASJ), performed on over 500 recordings with over nearly 200 as a leader/co-leader featuring several hundred original compositions.
