TJBS is a community partner for the Community Music and Food Festival that’s apart of Fisk University’s 150th birthday celebration. The event is a free-to-the-public-affair for the young and young-at-heart to come enjoy music, food, games and just have fun on the historic Fisk campus. The festival is June 25, noon to 8pm.
On Saturday, June 4 the popular series Sessions at Steinway continued with saxophonist Evan Cobb as the featured guest. The event took place at the Steinway Piano Gallery of Nashville.
Host and interviewer for this performance was Craig Havighurst, noted music journalist and host of Music City Roots.
Joining Evan for the Session at Steinway were Joe Davidian (piano), Jonathan Wires (bass), and Derico Watson (drums).
